Words of Rev. Robert Atkinson. John Tecumseh "Tauy" Jones raised several orphan Indian children. He donated all his wealth of property,$75,000, to the support of Theological education. John T. Jones and Mrs. Tauy Jones devoted much of their time to the founding of the Ottawa university. John T. Jones owned a 1,280 acre farm.
